Mike Davis
Founder / President
I’m a Wisconsin native and business school graduate. I fell in love with business at a young age, realizing that working with people was my true passion. With a foundation built on hard work and God as my Co-pilot, I know I will always serve my clients and employees as best as I am able. I have a strong passion for the outdoors which naturally lead me to a career in this industry. Operating DLC since 2015 has been a blessing, and I’m fortunate to have an incredible team and outstanding clients. I love making clients outdoor living dreams reality. As a perfectionist, I strive for exceeding my customers’ expectations and delivering premium quality work. When I’m not on a job site or working together with my clients, I escape back to the outdoors to hunt or fish. I look forward to meeting you and helping to accomplish your goals!
Matt Gimnick
Operations Manager
I have spent the last several years working in highway landscaping and restoration, but in my most recent years I have spent as road builder I have done everything from striping ground to dirt, sod, seed, and straw to concrete, fine grading, and retaining walls… i’ve had my hands in this field for years.
While working in the trades I have learned that the three most important tools in any trade is Honesty, Hard work, and Dependability and that is exactly why I have found a home here at Davis Property Care because this company was founded on Integrity, Hard work and family. That is the difference between Davis Property Care and all other companies in this industry. We take the most pride in our work as if your property is our own.
Jake Semrow
Operations Manager
Hi, my name is Jake Semrow. I’m an Operations Manager for Davis Property Care that specializes in the flow of jobsite operations, ensuring all projects are done to its best ability in a timely manner. Growing up on a lake in the small town of Coloma,WI, I spent a lot of time doing fall cleanups for friends and family in between working at a large produce farm during the week. I currently live in Milwaukee and recently graduated from UWM with a Supply Chain and Operations Management degree. During the hardships of covid, I was determined to find a job that’s enjoyable which led me to this position.The most rewarding segment of landscaping is the before and after transformation of projects. Seeing a client’s dream lawn turn into reality is truly what it’s all about. Davis Property Care is a great company that has a lot of room for growth, opportunity, and education on property maintenance. Our niche and focus is not only on creating the perfect landscape but most importantly, developing a strong relationship with clients. I am looking forward to the bright future here.
Jake Schires
Maintenance Manager
Whether it is weekly grass cutting, hardscape, or simple cleanups, I strive for excellence. The job is not complete until the client is satisfied with my work. I am primarily responsible for handling operations related to your yard extending from weekly grass cutting, fertilizing, overseeding, aerating, cleanups, and much more. My experience in these areas has allowed me to take the task of lawn mowing and lawn upkeep from a procedural process (followed by most other companies) into more of a comprehensive process. As for your lawn, I find it to be much more than just making sure every blade of grass in your yard gets cut each week. Perfect stripes are strategically made to make your home show off its beauty to your neighbors, friends, and family. Ideal length is chased through all parts of the season, no matter the weather, to maintain your lawn’s most green and lush look as long as possible. As a Mechanical Engineering student, I pride myself on approaching all projects systematically and cohesively.
Mark Davis
Digital Marketer / Accounts Manager
I graduated the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Digital Marketing degree. Being creative and thinking outside the box is something that I have a strong passion for. Working for DLC has allowed me to put my skills to the test. I am responsible for running all of the social pages, the website, answering emails, and many other tasks. Treating our clients like family is my goal in making sure the client always feels heard and understood. I started working for DLC in 2018 as a laborer, then a foreman, and now my current position. This experience has allowed me have the knowledge of what goes on in the field. DLC is a company that couldn’t be more proud to work for and I couldn’t have asked for a better family to work with.
